The name of the hotel is donated to its former owner, who served in a regiment of Dragoner, and now stands for best in quality. The property is owned by the family since 1905. Due to a lot of industry, hospitality and taste the family accomplished a well known and wonderful hotel.

Coming from Reutte (A), F?n (B17): - In the city centre turn right onto Maierstra? - Follow signs to Oberammergau, Garmisch-Partenkirchen - At the end of Maierstra? turn right onto Ammergauer Stra?. The hotel is located on the left. Coming from Munich, Starnberg, Weilheim, Pei?nberg (B472): - Before Peiting take the exit Peiting S?owards Ammergauer Stra?. The hotel is located on the right side. Coming from Innsbruck (A), Garmisch-Partenkirchen, Oberammergau (B23): When coming from this direction you are already on Ammergauer Stra?.
